THE CRAWLERS HAVE ARRIVED
We are growing, consuming, thriving in the decay, and emerging from the depths of the earth.
We are the vessels for the ones that crawl amongst us.

Declarations and Acknowledgements
Crawlers exists and works on stolen land. What we refer to as stolen land is land that has been taken from its traditional cultural owners (land that was colonized), as well as land where ethnic and minority groups were forcibly removed from the space due to any form or act of violence, political oppression, economic oppression, and/or gentrification. Crawlers has emerged and exists physically in the geographical spaces of Lyndsey and Jess’ residences of Berlin, DE and Naarm (Melbourne), Australia (respectively). We acknowledge First Nations Peoples as the first artists and scientists. We acknowledge and pay respects to Elders past, present and emerging of the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation, and recognise that Indigenous sovereignty in so-called Australia was never ceded. We also acknowledge the traumatic history and occupation of stolen land in Berlin, and we pay our respects to those who were persecuted during the Holocaust, including members belonging to the ethnic and minority groups of the Jewish People, LGBTQIA+, Romani, Slavic Peoples, members of the disabled community, POC, Afro-Germans, and others.
Declaration of Crawler’s Identity and Cultural Ownership: Crawlers is a queer and disabled working group. Lyndsey Walsh (she/her/they/them) identifies as queer, disabled, and white, ethnically Jewish American. Jess Cockerill (they/them) identifies as queer, neurodivergent, and white Australian.
